In the Summer of 2005, crews from all Islay, Jura and Bushmills Distilleries visited all the distilleries by boat over a three day period and pillaged 40 litres of 12 year old malt from each.

The Pillaged Malt was decanted into a cask which was warehoused in Lagavulin Distillery, to marry until March 2006. It has now been bottled at Bruichladdich distillery.
